The Western Canadian Pony Classic is open to both junior and adult competitors, and ponies of all types.

WHO CAN ENTER?

The Western Canadian Pony Classic is open to all ponies (14.2 hh and under), regardless of breed — with a few exceptions for specific awards and breed classes:


  • Most classes are open to all ponies - registered and grade alike
  • We also have a small horse dressage division
  • Welsh classes require Welsh registration papers (except pending foals of the current year)
  • To be eligible for breed-specific High Point Awards, ponies must be registered with their breed association
  • All ponies are eligible for the Overall High Point Awards                                                                                                                              

We welcome all pony breeds and types in our open divisions — whether you show a registered purebred or a beloved backyard pony, you’re welcome here!
